After Mr Robbie Murone quit, leaving us with this mess, I began to wonder how he could have such a good reference from such an established business as Stockland.
I did a web search for Fabian Stockland.
There is no such person.
But there's a FABIAN MURONE, with the same phone number that Mr Robbie Murone gave me.
The fantastic reference was from
Mr R. Murone's
big brother.
Mr FABIAN MURONE has since assured me that he wasn't passing himself off as Fabian Stockland. He simply works for Stockland.
However he did not identify himself other than by answering the phone with 'Fabian speaking'.
Mr Fabian Murone tells me he gives many references for his brother to residents on the Allura Estate.
Ethically, should he be giving references for his brother at all?
Especially when his brother seems to be unregistered and appears to be operating illegally?
If he does give such references isn't he ethically bound to ensure the caller knows of his relationship with Mr Robbie Murone?
