Included in quote are: All labour costs and hire of all machinery including hire of tip trucks and tipping fees.

 

• Excavate and re-shape driveway to new levels.  Levels to be measured accurately before commencement to ensure correct drainage throughout.

 

• Removal of all excess soil, rock and debris

 

• Install strip grates commercial grade close to house and close to sliding gate and 2 x large pits 600 x 600mm along south east side of concrete area . 

 

• Excavate and install 100mm PVC pipe and connect pits and grates to stormwater drainage at south east corner of house.

 

• Excavate strip footings around perimeter of drive, pour concrete 150 – 200 mm in thickness with y12 steel bar in the concrete

 

• Once footings are dry install brick edging side by side on a bed of mortar, grout to match grout on house. Bricks either old bricks matching house or ‘pressed reds’.

 

• Once border complete and grout dry, prepare areas to be concreted, place crushed rock base 50mm thick and compact

 

• Supply and place F72 steel reinforcement mesh in concrete leaving space for control/expansion joints. Reinforcement mesh to be raised on bar chairs throughout.

 

• At control joints (every 2.5 m), discontinue steel reinforcement at a distance of 50 mm from the joint.  Install dowel bars 20 mm diameter of grade 250 steel placed at 300 mm intervals across joint.

FURTHER WORK TO BE DONE

 

• Supply and pour 260 SQ M 100mm thick 28mpa exposed aggregate concrete (Montrose Standard), supplied by Mentone Pre Mix (18 – 20 Shearson drive Mentone)

• CONCRETE RETARDANT to be sprayed evenly onto concrete to prepare for clean  24 hour later

• Saw cut expansion joints where dowel bars were installed.

• Pressure clean and acid etch surface pressure wash to create exposed aggregate concrete.

• Clean and apply 2 x coats of clear sealer. Apply 2 coats of clear sealer

•  Final clean-up of work zone.
